Christmas Cup 2007

I december varje år äger danstävlingen Christmas Cup rum i Örebro och den är lite annorlunda då man får se disco, bugg, standard och latin dansas på en och samma tävling! Naturligtvis tävlar man i sina respektive discipliner...

In december each year the dance competition Christmas Cup takes place in Örebro, Sweden. It's a little bit different since you get to see disco, bugg, ballroom and latin dancing at the same competion! Of course everyone competes in their own discipline...

Streetdance SM 2007

Svenska Mästerskapen i Streetdance avgjordes i år i Sandviken och arrangörerna gjorde ett bra jobb med hela danstävlingen såväl för publiken som för dansarna!

The Swedish Championship in Streetdance were held in the small town of Sandviken this year and the organizers did a really good job thru the whole dance competition both for the audience and the dancers!

Westra Aros Disco Cup II 2007

Andra discodanstävlingen den här hösten arrangerades av WAD/VDC i Västeråshallen, Västerås. Ca 700 dansare var på plats för att göra upp om segern! Tack och lov så var dansgolvet jämnt och bra belyst av det lilla lokala företaget Selecta.

The second disco dance competition this autumn was arranged by WAD/VDC in Västeråshallen, Västerås. Nearly 700 dancers danced and competed! Luckily the whole dancefloor were evenly and very well highlighted by a little local company called Selecta.

EuroDisco 2007

Europeiska Mästerskapen i discodans för vuxna ägde rum den 1-2 november 2007 i Lillestrøm i Norge och på samma evenemang, kallat Eurodisco 2007, tävlade juniorerna i IDO World Cup.

European Championships in Disco Dance for adults took place november 1-2 2007 in Lillestrøm Norway and at the same event, called Eurodisco 2007, the juniors competed in the IDO World Cup.

KSD-Cupen 2007

Första disco danstävlingen den här hösten hölls i Duveholmshallen i Katrineholm och arrangör var KSD i Örebro. Drygt 800 dansare var på plats för att göra upp om segern! Tyvärr var belysningen av golven väldigt ojämn som ni kommer att se på bilderna. De som dansade närmare mitten av golvet blev bäst på bild!

The first disco dance competition this autumn was held in Duveholmshallen in Katrineholm and the event was arranged by KSD in Örebro. Over 800 dancers came aiming for victory! Unfortunately the lights on the dancefloor were pretty bad as you can see on the pictures. Those who danced closer to the middle of the dancefloor turned out great on the photos!

DiscoWorld 2007

Denna gång så höll Discoworld på i fem dagar och vi fick se IDO's Världsmästerskap i Disco för vuxna och juniorer, Europeiska Mästerskapen i Disco för barn och i Disco Freestyle för vuxna och juniorer. Dessutom EM coh VM i Street Dance Show...

This time around, Discoworld was a five day event with the IDO World Championship in Disco Dance for adults and juniors, the European Championship in Disco Dance for children and in Disco Freestyle for adults and juniors. If that wasn't enough, they also hosted the European- and World Championships in Street Dance Show...

Diskodrom 2007

Diskodrom är samlingsnamnet för Europeiska Mästerskapen i Disco för barn och juniorer samt Världsmästerskapen i Disco Freestyle för juniorer och vuxna. Som vanligt hölls danstävlingarna i Prostejov, Tjeckien (1-3/6 2007).

Diskodrom is the name for the European Championships in Disco Dance for children and juniors but also the World Championship in Disco Freestyle for juniors and adults. As usual the dance competitions were held in Prostejov, Czech Republic (1.6-3.6.2007).

Disco SM 2007

Svenska Mästerskapen i Discodans ägde rum under två dagar i slutet av april. Drygt 1300 dansare tävlade i Ejedals Arena i Leksand och vilken dansfest det var! Första dagen dansades det endast singeldisco, på söndagen fick vi se formationsdisco, pardisco och gruppdisco!

The Swedish National Championship in Disco Dance was held 27. - 28. April 2007. Over 1300 dancers competed in Ejedals Arena in Leksand during these two days. The first day they danced disco dance solos and on sunday disco dance duos, formations and small groups!

Roger Rabbit Cup 2007

SDR's andra streetdance tävlingen för i år hölls i Eriksdalshallen i Stockholm den 9:e april. Här var det skön stämning som det brukar och (nästan) alla ägde golvet! ;o)

The second SDR streetdance competition was held in Eriksdalshallen in Stockholm on april 9th. As usual the event was great and (almost) everyone owned the floor! ;o)

Westra Aros Disco Cup 2007

Den största discodans tävlingen som någonsin genomförts i Sverige hittills (över 1300 dansare) ägde rum i Västerås 31 mars. Med dansare som tävlade samtidigt på tre (!) dansgolv under kvalificeringsrundorna, så var det en häftig upplevelse för alla!

The biggest disco dance competition ever held in Sweden (over 1300 dancers) took place 31st of march in Västerås. With dancers competing simultaneously on three (!) dancefloors thruout the qualification rounds, this was truly a amazing event for everyone!

ÖHC Cupen 2007

Streetdance tävling, ÖHC Cupen, som arrangerades av just ÖHC i Örebro 24 mars blev ett lyckat arrangemang. Det var deras första rikstävling och proffsigt genomfört, hoppas ÖHC håller i fler tävlingar framöver!

Streetdance competition, ÖHC Cup, that was arranged by ÖHC in Örebro 24th of march, turned out to be a really successful event. It was their first national competition and it was professionally carried out, so let's hope ÖHC holds more comps ahead!

Let's Move Cup 2007

Första discodanstävlingen i år hölls i Eskilstuna den 24 februari. Väldigt dålig belysning av dansgolven så bilderna blev därefter... men deras DJ spelade väldigt bra musik!

The first disco dance competition this year were held in Eskilstuna february 24th. Really bad lightning of the dancefloors so the pictures are not that great... but the DJ played really good music!
